"Hello?" Ashley asked talking to the dial tone. "Hello? Terri?!" She hung her phone up. She squealed and tossed the phone out the open door nearly hitting Toby and JT who were passing by. Both of the boys dodged it.

"I think maybe I should go home," JT said, following his friend into his bedroom. "This place is a war zone."

"Take me with you," Toby begged. "Please." He collapsed down onto his bed. "She's going to kill me by the end of the week."

"Or at least put you in the psychiatric hospital."

Toby smirked. "Probably that first."

JT smiled. "When it comes to crazy people," he said. "I am the craziest!"

"Yep."

JT climbed up onto the top bunk of Toby's bed and looked down at his friend. "I hate Tuesday's," he said.

"You hate Monday's through Thursday's," Toby said.

"Good point. Except for in the summer."

"Except for when you have to go to summer school for failing Kwan's class."

"Yet another good point. You should have 'Good point person' tattooed on your forehead."

Toby smiled.

"Ashley what is the phone doing in the hall?" Kate asked out in the hall.

"Terri hung up on me."

"But you didn't have to throw it."

"Whatever."

"Ashley, I want you to drop this attitude."

"Mom, I want you to bite me."

The door to Ashley's room slammed and Toby and JT could hear Kate screaming at Ashley and then Ashley turning on her stereo and cranking it up to full blast. The boys still heard Kate using some words that they have never heard her say before. Kate finally gave up and opened the door to Toby's bedroom. "Toby, how would you like to go back to being an only child!" she said.

"Fine by me," Toby replied.

"Why?" JT asked.

"'Cause I'm going to kill her."

Kate closed the door and walked away.

JT hung over the side. "I've never seen Kate that angry before," he said.

Toby looked up at him. "Neither have I," he replied. "She usually holds it in."

"That could be dangerous to her health."

Toby nodded.

JT and Toby talked some more and then decided to start on their homework.
