Craig turned to the guys. "Sammy found Gabe's DVD," he said. "She had it."
"What?" Spinner asked.
"She accidentally put it in her bag."
Jimmy slumped back on the couch. Gabriel was still asleep in the playpen with his sock monkey next to him.
"Well, we survived without it," Craig said. Spinner and Jimmy nodded. Spinner fell over the back of the couch and sat next to Jimmy upside down.
"I'm going to let the blood rush to my head," he said. "So leave me alone for a while."
Craig shrugged and walked upstairs. Angela's room was empty, as was Joey's. He turned and walked back downstairs. "They didn't come home last night," he said.
"Who?" Spinner asked.
"The Teletubbies," Jimmy said to Spinner. Spinner nodded. Jimmy turned to Craig. "That might be staying over at Caitlin's."
"Oh! You mean, Joey and Angela?" Spinner asked.
"I wouldn't stand on my head if I was dropped on it so much when I was little," Craig said.
Spinner looked at him with his eyes but the couch was separating them. "Craig walk around the couch so I could you a look that could kill!"
Craig smiled and shook his head. He rubbed his neck as he walked into the kitchen to look for something to eat. He, Spinner, and Jimmy all fell asleep on the couch sitting up. I'm staying away from the couch today, he thought.
He opened the refrigerator and couldn't really find anything to eat. Gabriel started screaming again in the living room. "What now, Gabe?" he asked. He walked back into the room and picked him up. He needed to be changed and Craig could do that. He carried Gabriel up to his room and changed him but Gabriel was still crying.
"I don't know what you want," Craig said.
He picked Gabriel back up and walked downstairs and walked around the kitchen with him while making his breakfast. He sat Gabriel on the counter and went to feed him his breakfast but Gabriel hit his hand and the food smacked Craig in the face. He shook his head, still bawling.
Spinner and Jimmy walked in. They were about to laugh at Craig but that was before he told them both to shut up and help him.
Spinner shrugged. "I'm not good with kids," he said.
"You are one," Jimmy replied.
Craig wiped the baby food off of his face, some slipping his mouth. He made a face. "This is disgusting!" he said. "I don't blame him for not eating it."
"I think we should call Sammy," Spinner said.
"Yeah," Craig said, after thinking for awhile. "Because I can't do this. I don't know what I'm doing. I'm not sure I'm even ready to be a dad."
Jimmy and Spinner looked at him. Craig looked at them. He had said his thoughts out loud but they were true. He picked up the phone and called over to Terri's.
