"Are you serious?" Ellie asked as Marco paced back and forth in her bedroom letting all his anger on his brother out to someone who would actually listen to him.

"Yeah," Marco said.

"Marco, please sit down you're making me dizzy," she replied.

Marco walked over and sat down next to her feet. "I don't know what to do, Ellie?" he asked. "Going home is like walking straight into hell. My brother doesn't talk to me—which I think is pretty good—but he glares at me like he's plotting my murder."

Ellie sat up and grabbed her best friend's arm. "Let him try!" she said, with a threatening tone.

Marco smiled. "Thanks Ellie," he said.

"No problem," she replied. She leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. "So how was the rest of the date?"

"Did I tell you about the good-night kiss?"

Ellie shook her head and fell back onto her bed as Marco explained his good night kiss to her. Even though, she didn't have him she was glad he was happy.
