Chapter 1: 4 Privet Drive
Harry sat on his bed staring out the window. He still couldn't believe Sirius was gone. "How could it happen?" thought Harry. First, Harry had lost his parents and now Harry had lost Sirius to something Harry wasn't even sure about. Hedwig flew through the open window and nipped Harry's finger to get his attention. Harry turned his attention to her and started to pet her. Hedwig then nipped his finger with affection and flew to her cage. Harry sighed and turned to his calendar. One more week at the Dursley's house and Mr. Weasley would come to pick him up and take him to Diagon Alley. He started to pack his things in to his school trunk. Then Harry glanced at his school list for the list of things. BAM!!! Harry raced to the steps and could hear Uncle Vernon yelling at Dudley for being late again from his so called "Tea Party" with his gang. The bam had come from Dudley slamming the door.
