Caitlin was downstairs the next morning talking to Joey, when Craig and Sammy walked downstairs. Craig had Gabriel on his hip. He set him down on the floor and Gabriel walked over to Angela.
"I think I need to go to these classes," Caitlin said, with the paper in her hand.
"The parenting classes?" Joey asked.
"Yeah, I think all four of us needs to go." She looked at Craig and Sammy was wearing a pair of her sweatpants and one of Craig's t-shirts.
"Why?" Joey asked. "Considering that two out of four of us are already parents. Maybe you and Craig could just go."
Sammy laughed. "Yeah, how would that look?" she asked.
Craig and Caitlin smiled. "Please, Joey," she said, grabbing his arm. "Please, please, please!"
"Alright," he said. "I'll see if Snake and Spike will watch Angie. When is it?"
"Saturdays," Caitlin replied. "This is so exciting!"
"Sammy, your mom called earlier," Joey said.
"I don't want to talk to her, ever," Sammy replied. She walked into the living room and Craig went after her but Caitlin grabbed his arm.
"You didn't ask her, yet?" she asked.
"I have it all planned out, Caitlin."
"Really?"
"Yeah," he said. "I'm going to go talk to her."
Caitlin dropped his arm and nodded. Craig walked into the living room. "Sam, you're going to have to talk to your mom sooner or later," he said.
"But I don't want to, Craig," she replied. "She lied to me. She doesn't know who my dad is."
Craig nodded. "I know," he said. He reached over and put his arm around her. "But you shouldn't hate her."
Sammy looked at him. "I know, but I'm sorry," she whispered.
He rubbed her arms. "I know, I know," he said. He kissed the side of her head. "Do you want something to eat?"
"I think should, I'm eating for two, right?"
"Right," he replied. He pulled her up and wrapped his arm around her waist and led her into the kitchen.
