Lament of the Lost

Hope is for fools
If you fill your life with hope
Disappointment can only follow
When your dreams don't come true
And justice is a fairy tale
In my world of pain and loss
There are no foolish thoughts
Of happiness and love
I must remove these to be strong
They are the result of weakness
Romance is overrated
And tears are just a waste
There is no point
But to just survive
From day to day
As soon as I am out of hell
My life can then begin.
