The first thing that Kaelin noticed, after coming into consciousness, was the sound of hoofs on stone. Next, she felt her head bobbing up and down at the same time that the hoofs met with the ground.
Struggling to sit up, she found that she could not. Something was holding her down. It was too dark to see what it was. By the darkness, she figured that it was the middle of the night. Suddenly, she realized how tired she was. She let her head hang down, her hair swaying slightly in the breeze. She closed her eyes and went to sleep.

When she awoke, she realized the immense heat that engulfed her. Opening her eyes, she saw the underside of a horse. A strap, belonging to a saddle, crossed over its belly. On the side across form her; she saw a boot fixed in a stirrup. Her long black hair was dragging across the ground.
Still uncomfortable with the heat, she tried to get out of the blanket she was wrapped in. Like the night before, something held her down. Her feet were free, though. And she used them. She started to thrash around, trying to kick the blanket off of her.
As she lashed around, she heard voices above her. But she was too frustrated to understand their meaning. As she tossed about, she noticed that the horse had stopped. Its rider dismounted. She could tell by the way that all of the saddle moved as he put his weight on his foot.
Kaelin felt three sets of hands grab her. One held her shoulders while the other two held her feet. She went still. They, whoever they were, were moving her somewhere. She closed her eyes and prayed that they wouldn't toss her in a river like the others had. She didn't think that she could survive again, especially when her arms and legs were tied.

Okay. I know that this one wasn't all that great. It's still kinda boring. But I'm building up the story. Please read and review. I KNOW I need a lot of work, but I don't know where. That's where you come in! I PROMISE that I will make the chapters longer. But just be patient!
