She watched from the entrance of the great deku tree as the little boy cried. The red haired boy with the chubby cheeks picking on him again, How she wanted to just fly over to him and tell him he's not alone and he's not worthless. But alas she could not, not until the Great Deku said so. "Oh, Navi the fairy…" He called out to her and she went on her way.
Why did he have to be different? Why must they constantly taunt and tease him? Tears fell from his eyes and slid down his cheeks and onto the green land underneath him. That Mido soon he'll realize how wrong he was about me. Just because he was different didn't mean he was worthless and unfit to be a kokiri child. He had ever right didn't he … didn't he. Only saria treated him kindly but lately she's been going to the sacred meadow forest a lot. He was alone with no one to talk to… but somewhere somehow he knew someone watched over him and soon things would get better. He wiped his eyes and got up off the ground. He laughed a little and went off to do what little kids did knowing in his heart that soon they'll realize he too was important… Maybe.

It was horrible, why did he have to go through this. When he was little he was all alone and again he's alone. He ripped off the green hood of the tunic, a reminder of his childhood. Tears streaming he sat behind the counter of the empty Goron shop. He was tired of it all. All the Fighting and the heroics, all the death and darkness around him, of the lonely empty void, He was tired of all of it. Did anyone care no, no one cared if he was hurt or sick as long as he rescued them? In the end who would understand what he went through? Who would be waiting for him when he went…home … did he even have a home. Crazy thoughts ran through his head as Navi fluttered around his head.
"Navi stop that get away."
"Listen, I just want to help you."
"I don't need it. Besides you wouldn't understand no one will. I'm all one in this world." Tears burst from his eyes.
"No your not, I care. Link where in this together. Don't cry I'm here always been… always will."
He looked up, she was right. He was never alone Navi was always with him. Always helping him and in the end it'll only be them. Only she could understand him or read his mind or guide him. Sure she could be annoying at times or nag him but only because she cared. She was his best friend. "Navi…"
