'THE QUESTION!' by Crystal-chan, aka Lavy or Lavendertail Youko
[A/N: I was reeeeeeeallybored when typing this, as if you couldn't tell. ^_^ Anyways, the basic summary is that Kurama is in love with Hiei, and has been for a long time. Hiei suspects his feelings, but doesn't say anything. But then one day, after many of my poking and prodding and rushing and annoying, he finally decided to ask Hiei 'The Question'. It's now what you think guys! ^___~ Please review! Have a laugh! {even though I'll never be as good as Kuramafan when it comes to humor, I think I did pretty good on this one ^^} Well, enjoy! Kurama sat down on the grass beside Hiei, beginning to ever regret even thinking about popping the question with the small fire demon.
"Kurama. Go ahead and ask."
Scared emerald eyes met slightly confused ruby ones.
The kitsune found himself pausing. Ever since he met Hiei, Kurama had felt that the feisty demon had been more than a friend, someone he could trust. He was cutely monosyllabled, though somewhat snippy with people. His black cloak, whom Crystal-chan had always accused of being a 'dress', folded neatly behind him now as he kneeled reluctantly on the ground.
"I don't have all day, fox. I have somewhere to be if you're not going to get on with it."
Kurama looked into Hiei's eyes and made a small whimper.
Hiei sighed, annoyed slightly. Yes, he trusted the fox, but he really did want him to hurry up. But his eyes were full of trust and worry as he looked at him. The striking emerald was starting to get to him. Slowly but surely, as Hiei took Kurama's hands in his own.
The youko drew in a long breath as if he was about to speak, then drooped his head in shame.
"Out with it, Kurama!" Hiei growled, tightening his grip.
His face gradually lifted as the redhead asked quietly to where he almost couldn't hear him.
"May I call you Chibi-chan?"
*CLUNK!* Hiei fell to the earth and twiched, wishing he had never heard of the Reikai.
