Summary: Hey you! Yes, you! This story is about you! What? That these things haven't ever happened to you? If you would remember all this, I wouldn't have to tell you this story, duh! So read this and you will find out why you don't remember anything about it!

MEDALLION OF A SNAKE
Chapter one: The Castle
The rain. Great! The last thing you needed right now is rain. Well, there is NO turning back. You won't go back to the orphanage! Not after your perfect escape. You knew that if you turn back now you'll probably regret it for the rest of your life.
Okay, no panic! You just have to find a shelter and wait there until the rain stops. Well, it's easy to say but you were in the middle of nowhere and there are no shelters. You continued walking. Here must be a barn or something!

It felt that you have walked hours and hours. You were drenched, desperate, tired and cold. And you were ready to give up. You nestle against the stem of pine and cried. You were freezing. But suddenly you remembered something. Your medallion! You squeeze it into your fist and like you were hoping, it was so hot that you had to let it go.
The medallion was the only thing you own. It wasn't actually even beautiful but you have always known that it's somehow very special. It was a golden skull and you have had it since you was a baby. But the special thing about it was that when you have cold, medallion turned hot and kept you warm and if you had too hot, the medallion kept you cool. And somehow it always calms your mind.
You twiddle it on your fingers and like usual, it worked! You felt yourself quite calm again and there wasn't so cold anymore. You push your black hair away of your face and for the first time you watched around you. And you saw roof.
"Why didn't I saw that before?" you ask to yourself. Probably because I was so afraid.
You brighten up so much that you start walking towards it immediately. The roof was very high and you thought it might be the roof of a tower. You have heard that in this way is a castle but everybody have always said that it's in ruins. You weren't anymore so sure this is a good idea but there were still raining and you wanted to get inside.

When you get closer, castle grow bigger and bigger and it definitely wasn't ruin! It was huge and there were so many towers that you couldn't even count them. And strangest thing were that it was lighted.
Finally forest ended. You stepped out of woods and saw the whole castle and the grounds. Between you and the castle were a lake and next to castle were a cottage which was lighted too. You were a bit worried. Is this place haunted?
"Can I go inside?" you asked to yourself.
You were tired and wet so you wanted to sneak inside. You walked slowly and quietly towards the castle and soon you were onto its steps. You hesitated. Is this really right thing to do? Maybe this is a trap. But there were still raining and thunderstorm was probably coming this way. Wouldn't it be much nicer to be inside when real storm comes?
But why anyone doesn't know that here is an undamaged castle? This is so creepy!
But when the first lightning started, you made up your mind very quickly and you rushed in...
