The Sweetness
An Ed, Edd n Eddy Moment

It was only a jawbreaker.
Or was it?
Eddward, commonly known to the other kids of the cul-de-sac as Double D, rolled the tiny white orb between his thumb and forefinger, examining it closely.
It looked so simple and innocent. How could something so small bring such intense pleasure? Yet, he knew that to have this sphere of sugar in his mouth was to know true happiness. He was salivating at the very thought of wrapping his lips around its honeyed sweetness. If he had one weakness in his armor of civility, it was this.
"Come on, Sock head! Just eat it already!"
He ignored his best friend's whiny voice, not removing his gaze from this orb of rapture for a second. It was so close…
Finally, it touched his lips, and his eyes rolled upwards in delight. The sweetness hit his senses like a speeding truck; swamping him in sensations he had no names for. Its sugary splendor settled on his tongue and he felt faint with ecstasy.
He rolled the sphere in his mouth, feeling it melt on his eager tongue. This was bliss!
Eddward opened his eyes and saw Eddy standing not two feet away, loudly enjoying his own piece of heaven. A sudden flash of inspiration hit him, and he found himself eyeing Eddy with a new purpose.
This was foolish. Madness! Thinking it was lunacy! Yet, he was intrigued by this new facet to his own pleasure. Could he do it? Would he do it? The more he thought about it, the more he wanted it.
Eddy had finished his jawbreaker quickly, foolishly refusing to savor the moment. Well, no matter, as Eddward had plans for him anyway.
He walked up to his best friend, driven now by the urgent need to feel, and brought their lips together in a searing kiss. Eddy's mouth opened easily, allowing his friend entrance, and Eddward rolled the dissolving candy over his tongue and onto Eddy's. The jawbreaker was now in Eddy's hot mouth, but Eddward wasn't far behind.
Their tongues met and caressed each other feverishly, the quickly melting sphere of joy releasing its sweetness over them both. Eddy moaned into his friend's mouth and the vibration sent shivers of bliss all throughout Eddward's body. Heat was growing between them as their tongues wrestled and played.
Eddward didn't notice when the candy disappeared. The lasting taste was in their mouths for a long time afterward. And when that was gone, they still had the sweet bliss they were finding together.
It was enough to last a lifetime.
