Author's Note: This is just an idea that popped into my head while I was
reading a fanfic. It's really short, but I hope it makes you laugh.

You have no idea how hard it is to be a scrying crystal! I've been dipped in stuff, blood, demon flesh, and whole assortment of things, most of them unpleasant. Not to mention the fact that I get swung around in circles until I'm about to puke! How do they expect me to read the map if I'm getting sick to my chain?!
There was also that one time when a demon blew up the table I was on! I got melted, I needed fifteen stitches after that. And what did the sisters do? Did they try and find a way to fix me? No! They got a replacement!
That's the thanks I get for letting myself be covered in blood, learning to speed read, and not puking on their shoes! If any of them tried to be me they wouldn't last a day.
I'm also over worked! They use me almost everyday! Sometimes when they didn't need to or when they knew they weren't going to find anything! I think they just do it for fun! Ha ha, let's all laugh at the scrying crystal! I have feelings too ya know.
They made me search the whole solar system once, that was a stretch! How am I supposed to know all these places and planets if they won't let me rest long enough to read some geography and science books?
Next time you use a scrying crystal, or see them using one remember to report them to the Abuse of Magical Instruments Administration! Scrying crystals are people too!
