hamster quietly jumped off of his bed and walked around Snoozer, who was
not stirred by the mysterious noise. i Thump. Thump. Thump. br
Grabbing his shovel for protection, he walked out of his room. He surveyed the area. i Nothing wrong here. /i He thought. br
He gripped the handle of the storage room. i Thump. Thump. /i The noise got louder. He knew the thief was in here. br
His heart pounding, Boss opened the door. He jumped in and hoisted his shovel above his head. "WHO ARE YOU?" He yelled. He was trying to act brave, yet, had failed, due to the crack in his voice. br
The sound of running feet was heard. Boss reached for the light switch. i Click. /i Nothing. Searching for damage, he found nothing mysterious.br "There wasn't anything there?" Hamtaro questioned, later that day. All the ham hams were now sitting around the table, asking about what happened.br "Nothing." Boss nodded. br "That's mysterious." The orange and white hamster concluded. He took a sip of his acorn tea. "Must have been scary, too."br Boss, who saw Bijou in the corner of his eye, boasted, "Nah. I wasn't scared. Not one bit."br "How brave." Bijou knowingly commented.br "Did you catch her scent?" Maxwell, who was an expert on all things, asked.br "Kind of," Boss paused. "Are you saying we should track it down?"br "Well, it couldn't hurt, right?" "Couldn't hurt?!" Boss bellowed. The tan ham had a lot of experience with these kind of things. br "Boss, you have your shovel for protection," Bijou then smiled. "And of course, such a strong ham ham such as yourself could teach the robber a lesson!"br "Uh.." Boss blushed lightly.br "I guess that settles it," Hamtaro smiled, glad that a new adventure had been born. "We're off to find a ham robber!"br "YEAH!"
