Sara remained silent the entire drive back to her apartment. She stared out the window carefully avoiding any eye contact with Grissom. She knew what she had done was wrong, but seriously she didn't think she was too drunk to drive. She watched as Grissom pulled up to her apartment.

"Sara." Grissom replied before she could bolt out of the vehicle.

"Yeah?"

"You're taking the next two weeks off. I don't want to see you back in the lab for any reason other than personal ones."

Sara took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. She was expecting this. "Fine." She got out and made her way inside her apartment. Tears that she had been trying to fight back began making their way down her cheeks. She collapsed on her sofa, grabbed a pillow, and held it tightly. She wasn't aware of how much time had gone by when she heard a knock at her door. She slowly made her way to the door and glanced through the peephole. A worried Warrick stood on the other side. She was suddenly hesitant to open the door.

Sensing that Sara was standing behind the door Warrick replied. "Open the door Sara. Please."

He watched as the door opened and took in her appearance. To say she looked horrible was an understatement, her face was covered with tear tracks and her eyes were red and swollen. He instantly wrapped her in his arms. She started crying harder. He gently rubbed her back. "It's okay honey, just let it out."

Once her crying leveled off, Warrick guided her to the couch and they both sat down. "How did you find out?" She finally asked.

"Grissom called me. I headed over here as soon as he hung up."

"I guess you're disappointed in me too." She whispered.

Warrick took her hands in his. "Sara, I'm just thankful that you're alive and you weren't hurt. As for me being disappointed, we've all made mistakes. It's what makes us human. I still care about you and I always will."

She smiled. "Thanks."

"Anytime."

"I guess you also know that Grissom gave me some time off."

"You need it. You've been working too hard as it is."

Sara was about to respond and ended up yawning instead. Warrick smiled. "You need some rest." He tugged on her hands. "Come on, I'll tuck you in."

They both stood up and headed toward her bedroom. Sara grabbed some clothes to sleep in and changed in the bathroom. Warrick had the bed ready for her when she came out. Once she was settled in bed, Warrick covered her up.

"Goodnight Sara." He gently kissed her lips.

"Warrick?"

"Yeah?"

"Will you stay with me?" She glanced into his eyes as if pleading with him.

He didn't answer her with words; instead he took off his shoes and shirt and crawled into bed with her. He wrapped his arms around her and she cuddled close to him with her head on his chest. "I love you Warrick."

"I love you too Sar." He smiled and noticed that she had drifted off to sleep. He wasn't even sure if she had heard him. He closed his eyes and listened to her steady breathing. He smiled to himself and let the sound of her breathing lure him to sleep.
