In the limbo-scape after Voldemort kills him in the final battle, Harry takes the 3rd option not offered by Dumbledore, and goes back in time to redo his days at Hogwarts, starting with first year. With the death of Voldemort, the golden trio now face an uprising of relentless Death Eaters and a new frightening Dark Lord rising. As adult Ministry employees, it is now their official duty to fight the continuing war, this time with ministry positions and troops. While dealing with the struggles of war, Hermione and Ginny have a chance encounter which ignites a romance.

After an awful summer in between his fourth and fifth years, Harry finally decides that he's done being meddled with. Every important witch or wizard he's met has tried to control him or manipulate him in some way. But he's decided to just take it in stride and go his own way. Rated M for language, alcohol, and some adult situations.
