Chihiro-
It rained. The small drops of tears fell down her lovely cheek just as the rain fell on the lonely ground. Haku had never come. It had been an entire year and he had promise, but he had never come. People would think just because she was a ten year old girl, now eleven, that she could not love. They were wrong, she did love, she loved Haku. He had left her. What a pity, what a shame, what an idiot of a girl hoping, and waiting for someone to come.
She had soon begun to think that it had been a dream, but the blood on her hands and the bruises on her face had proved different. She cried, sinking into the water she tried to drown herself. When her lungs had no air left she cried out and jumped to the surface. She breathed heavily, and whimpered. This was hell. Yes a hell of an earth. She couldnt stand it. She would be there all night.
She had started doing crazy things, like drinking and smoking. Her parents had died a while ago. Somehow she had gotten away from the social workers. She supposed Yubbaba had won after all. She was alone. Maybe she should have stayed in the spirit world. Dunking her head down into the water again she sighed. This was an attempt to wash away her sins.
HAKU-
He jumped. He had been brought into Yabbaba's office and she had told him the good news. His one year term was done. He could go to Chihiro now. When his love had gone back to the real world he had gone to his master and demanded he be let free. He had gotten his demand but with a large price to pay. He would have to serve out one last term. A year. Yes it was long, but worth it. He could now be with his one true love. Chihiro.
In the morning he had decided that he would leave. He would run right to her house and meet her. He couldnt wait to see her surprised look. Packing his bag, he went to sleep. The morning would be grand.
Next Day-
Normal-
She had decided she knew he wasnt coming. It was time to end it. To die. She ran the water in her semi large bathtub and slowly stepped inside. sinking to the bottom she smiled as warmth enveloped her enitre exsistance.
Kahaku now ran out of the tunnel he was almost there. He could almost smell her.
Chihiro brought the knife to her wrist and slid slowly. A sharp pain brought her to reality. She cried out, but soon went numb. Blood filled the entire tub. She soon began to sing and english song. She didnt quite know all the words for she only spoke a little english.
For the life of me I cannot remember
just to think that we were wise
and we never compromise

Kohaku ran quickly. He could sense something was wrong he made to her house. He could almost smell death. He busted her door down and ran up the stairs.

He ran into the bathroom. Seeing her blood he cried out running to her. Blackness had consumed her. "Chihiro!" She opened her eyes for a brief moment. She saw her angel. He had come. Regret entered her.
"I love you." she said gasping for air now.
"I love you too!" He said. "Hold on!"
He applied pressure, but the blood was coming to fast.
She began to sing again.
