The rain falls all aroud me
As I slowly take the fall
I can hear there piercing laughter
As if I never lived at all

They knew i would never take the stand
But deep within I could
If only i could swallow my fears
and show them that I would!

All these years i've took the blame
Of the many tears i've cried
If only i could show them all
If only i had tried

I listen to there laughter
As i sit out in the rain
If only they could see
