Sitting here in this open space.

No, I'm not thinking about me.

I'm thinking about you.

About what you said to me.

It felt painful.

It felt horrible to hear those words.

And now I'm left alone in the dark.

Whats worse is I have a broken heart.

No words to heal my broken part.

I feel what you've left behind.

I remember that day, that day of mine.

That day was a blessing, a pride I confide.

I missed you that day and you were all mine.

But now that your gone,

the light that was there has left.

So I sit in the dark,

Close my eyes.

I don't believe in myself anymore.

And I sit here, to wait.

To wait for the day.

The day may take forever but I'll wait.

For the day you'll show your face.

The day you will return to me.
