TITLE: Never To Late
DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of these characters from the Power Rangers Series. The studio that created them does. Also if my story resembles any other stories that is purely accidental and I am sorry. Anyway, I hope you enjoy. :)
PROLOGUE
Jason smiled as he leaned against a light pole waiting for his sister to come out of school. Ever since their mom past away their father took on 3 jobs to help make ends meet. So he would have to pick 5 year old Andrea up from Angel Grove elementary and then walk with her to the Youth Center while he taught classes or worked out et cetera and she would do her homework or stay with one of the others.
Jason smiled as he spotted her come out of the class eagerly chatting and holding hands with one of her friends. He whistled for her so she looked up, smiled, waved grabbed her friends hand and ran over.
"Hi JJ, can Stephanie come over and play?" She asked eagerly giving her brother a hug.
Jason's heart sank, she wasn't allowed to have people over since the house was not clean since no one was there to clean, but at five years old, that's hard to understand. "Not today but maybe this weekend you can go to her house." He said encouragingly.
Andrea sighed heavily "Ok bye Stephanie." She said with a wave as her friend ran off to her mother.
The siblings began their daily walk down the street to the Youth Center in silence.
"So how was your day today?" Jason asked swinging her arm back and forth as they walked down the street.
"Ok, I made daddy something for his birthday." She said proudly.
"You did?" He asked with a smile "Show me when we get to the Youth Center ok?" He asked and she nodded proudly.
"What kind of birds are those?" She asked and Jason was about to answer when he looked to where she was pointing and saw about 15-20 cogs. Jason swore under his breath and grabbing his sister and running to a nearby tree.
"Stay right here, don't move ok?" He told her placing her up in the tree, as more of a statement than a question.
"Ok." She said with fear in her eyes as she sat down and pulled her knees to her chest and watched as her big brother sprinted in another direction, while the monsters followed.
MEANWHILE
"Alright class that's it, nice job today." Tommy encouraged as they bowed together and then dismissed for the afternoon. He walked over to the table where everyone else was, caught his water bottle that Adam tossed him and sat down.
"Have you heard from Jase, him and Andrea are usually here by now." Tommy asked since Jason helps him teach his class.
"Maybe she had a meeting at her school or something?" Kat reasoned when their "beeper" went off. The teens gathered in a nearby hallway and Tommy pressed the call button.
"What's up Alpha?" Tommy asked.
"Rangers, Jason and Andrea are being attacked in the nearby park." Alpha explained "More cogs are appearing by the minute Ayi Yai Yai." He continued.
"We're on it," Tommy said as he and the others sprinted out of the Youth Center to the park praying that they weren't to late.
