Title: Together Again
Spoliers: Some for S4/S1 and previous seasons
Disclaimers: I own the sotry idea but none of the characters (so far)
AN: I know, I know the story isn't written very well and I haven't updated
in like a year, but now I will please send feedback.....

Joyce stood there in the kitchen, her hands flat on the counter, breathing in and out deeply trying her damnest to count to 10 before she turned around to face her daughter.
"Buffy, what in the world were you thinking bringing him here? Or even getting back with him? What happened to Riley, I thought you two were dating!"
Buffy sighed, this woman would never understand. "I liked Riley mom, as a friend- never more then that. I love Angel, I want Angel, I need Angel. His soul has been bound, we can finally be together."
"But honey what about children? Or sunlight? What about a nice home, the kind of life you deserve?"
"All of that isn't for me, but when the time comes he can give me everything I ever wanted, and that is his love. Mom, he makes me happy, I trust him with my life, in fact I would trust him with yours, and everyone else I know. Please just give us a chance. After everything we have been through together we deserve it."
"I don't like this. I don't like him. I don't like to two of you together."
"I'm not asking for your blessing mom, I am telling you this is how it is." Buffy said angrily and defiantly.
Joyce stood there is shock. Her daughter no longer needed her blessing nor wanted it for anything. As a mother her opinion no longer mattered. Her daughter just defied her wishes. She did not like this.
"You know my desicion, if you must be with him, then you won't do it under my roof."
Buffy looked at her mother, stared deep into her eyes knowing she wouldn't back down. "Fine, I'll get my things in the morning."
"Then I will start packing some of it tonight. Good-bye Buffy." with that she turned her back on her daughter.
Our slayer, silently went into the dining room.

Buffy crept her way into the dining room.
"Guys, party's over it's time to go."
Silently Willow got up with Oz, Xander, and Anya and asked her to call her.
"Daddy, it was real nice seeing you, maybe I will come by and see you tomorrow. I'm going back with Cordeila."
"It was great seeing you too. Perhaps I can take you and Angel out to dinner. Don't worry about your mother, I'll handle her."
"Thanks Daddy." Buffy hugged and kissed her father, then left with the LA crew behind her, including a very silent, touchy feely Gunn and Anne.

Joyce walked into the dining room to find Hank beginning to clear off the table.
"Hank stop it. Will you just leave too?"
"No, not until you tell me what the hell has been going on here."
"My daughter-"
"Our daughter."
Joyce glared at her ex-husband. He was not worthy enough to be a father
"Fine- Our daughter is dating someone I can not stand. Riley would be such a better man for her."
"To be honest I didn't really like Riley as a boyfriend for her that much. Angel seemed just fine. He was very proper, seemed quite intelligent, and has obvisouly captured Buffy's heart. Now tell me what is so bad about him? And what the hell did you say to her?"
"I told her is she chose to date him, it would not be done under my roof. She said she would get her things tomorrow."
"You what?! How can you tell her that? She doesn't need our consent anymore to date she is almost 19! What can be so bad about him?
Joyce sat down and signed. She let her head rest in her hands. "Hank you wouldn't believe me if I told you."
"Try me."
With that Hank sat down next to his ex wife and listened as she began to tell her story.
"In every generation there is a chosen one....."
