Crimson Wings
A starry night sky watched over Domino, creating a mystic aura around the city. The stars shone like little beacons in the sky, with a few flying through the sky. Yugi was watching the sky from his room, fascinated with the beauty of the sky. He suddenly spotted a falling star and made a wish. Then he settled down and fell asleep.
A little later on in the night, a blinding flash illuminated the sky for a split second, before something happened. A falling star like object fell from the sky, leaving a trail of many colors behind the comet-like object. Within 5 seconds, the object hit the ground, and created a small crater. Within the crater, laid a girl, with beautiful wings that shone with crimson and a bit of sapphire blue, and a long purple tail and ears that sat upon her head, also purple and furry.
Within a minute of impact in the city, the girl moaned, and struggled to lift herself off the ground. With a bit of effort, she withdrew her wings into her back, and limped out of the crater, looking for a place to stay. Confused of her whereabouts, she tried to remember, or spot something that she had seen, but saw nothing that was familiar. Struggling to walk, she got to a wall, near a house, a game store, and settled down. Removing her shoes, she felt her feet, and hissed in pain. Too hurt to move, she shut her eyes, and drifted off.
In the morning, Yugi eagerly woke up. He had heard the noise in the dead of the night, and was curios of what happened. After he got dressed, and put on his millennium puzzle, he hurried downstairs, and ran outside. As he ran past the impact site, with was a few feet away from his house, he noticed something. Approaching the young girl was asleep, with a bloody foot, he muttered something.
"By what in Ra is this???"
He then backed off as the girl awoke. Seeing him, she froze in fear. In her mind, she thought that she was a goner.
'Oh please don't let him be hunter. Oh Ra please help me.'
"Hey, are you ok? That foot looks badly mangled."
Seeing no evil in his eyes, she began to trust this innocent youth.
"Yes, I am...somewhat fine....Owww...."
"Hey, hey, don't move, you need some help!"
"I'll be alright. I have been in worse. Um....what is your name, anyways, and where am I?"
"Well, I'm Yugi" Yugi said with a smile. "And this is Domino city. Um...who are you?"
"I'm Sakura. And don't say anything about the ears and tail, cause I was born with them"
Yugi couldn't believe that. She answered his question, before he had even asked it. 'Maybe she's...nah, she can't be.' Yugi thought.
"Um...Yugi, do you have a place that I can stay."
"Ya, my house. Now, lemme help you up, so I can help you."
"Fine."
Yugi helped her up, and into his house.
