So... Where were we? Oh yeah, first day of school. Let's see what happened in the subjects she took, shall we?

CHEMISTRY

"Alright, class!! Pair up & do the chemical mixture I just showed you, extra credits for those who ACTUALLY do it together"

The teacher instructed. Aoi was paired up with Soujiro, & started on the mixture, while Soujiro watched as she is absorbed in her own world of mixing chemicals. Sojiro sweatdropped, & took out a few chemicals to mix himself, to add on the one that Aoi was working on. Aoi then walked over to the teacher's table for more sulphuric acid, while Sojiro has just finished off his mixture &....

"Don't mix those two!!!"

Aoi stopped him abruptedly. Sojiro looked at the short-haired version of Tsukushi questioningly, & asked.

"Why? The teacher instructed us to mix them after both formulae has been completed"

"You have to let it still for a while, mixing them too soon will cause a destructive compound reaction to the two mixture, which usually results in either an explosion or a disease, as the sensei said. You DO realize this formula we're working on has the EXACT same components as a formula for the deadly ebola virus, don't you?"

"Ebola virus?"

"That's when the virus gets inflicted on your body, & spreads like wildfire through air where it easily contages others, making them throw up their own blood & slowly acidises your insides."

(Gulp)

"Umm.... How much longer should we let it still?"

"Just a few more minutes"

MATHS

"Okay class, who can solve this equation?"

The sensei asked. Aoi brought up her hand, & began to answer the question on the board, but.....

Maths Sensei: "Umm... This equation is.... A little too... DETAILED, Kyohara-san..."

Yup. Aoi wrote out a whole rocket scientist equation that went a little too far from what the students were currently learning. The sensei sweatdropped, & told her to go back to her seat.

BREAK

"Sugoi desu, Kyohara-san! How did you work it out?"

A short haired girl asked her, who happens to be Makiko, a friend of Tsukushi. Aoi was reading a small book, & without looking up, simply answered.

"It's a basic equation, I knew how to work it out because the question had a similar pattern in creating a VSS Vintorez"

"A who?"

"A VSS Vintorez, a sentry gun with high accuracy that took the military 9 years to discover, and I was one of the members that took part in its creation"

Makiko looked at her amazed, when 3 girls, whom we all love to hate, appeared in front of Aoi. Who else you ask? No one else but the notorious, Asai-tachi.

"Hey, new girl. Listen to us, you may look like Tsukushi, but it doesn't mean you're as hard to break as her. We WARN you, don't you dare go near the F4 or else--"

Before Asai could finish her sentence, Aoi brought a gun & pointed it to her face, shutting her up, without looking away from the Military instructions manual she was reading. Makiko was speechless, and backed away from the dangerous firearm that is being pointed at Asai. Asai & her three friends began backing away slowly themselves, which then turned into a sprint.

"Kyohara-san!! They're going to expel you for carrying around such dangerous weapon!!!!"

"Negative, Miss...."

"Makiko, Endou Makiko. But just call me Makiko"

"Yes. Well you see, I have a legal permit in carrying these firearms, & the school has registered no interruption that will stop me from using these legalised weapons"

"So...Souka...."

Makiko then sweatdropped.

AFTER SCHOOL, AT MAKIKO'S HOUSE

"Hai!! Chotto matte!!"

Makiko shouted to the ringing phone. She picked it up, and on the other line was a female voice that sounded a little older than her, but no one she knew of.

"Moshi-moshi? Kimiwa dare?"

She asked the female voice.

"Ah, you must be Endou-san, correct?"

"Umm... Hai....?"

"My name is Meryl Mayoto, a student in the university learning under Aoi Kyohara's superior, and at the same time a first in command sergeant general & crew trainer. I believe you know Kyohara?"

"Uhh... A little, I mean, I've only met & talked to her a bit earlier today..."

"No matter. Umm... I guess I should cut the formal talk, Aoi's been rubbing off me... I just wanna ask you a favour, PLEASE take care of her, & make sure she doesn't destroy anything too huge for the military to handle. The military will pay you for your service"

"O...kay... You don't need to pay, though! It feels a little too awkward... But, why don't the military just send someone to do that?"

A moment of silence fell through the phone conversation, when Meryl began to talk again.

"Well you see, the boss wanted her to have a normal, teenage life while she still has it, before being completely absorbed into the military enviroment by...um... 'convincing' to her that she must go on a mission & study the normal community, and I think we both agree that sending a mentor following her around & studying her moves is not very related to the objective we've set upon, huh?"

Makiko sweatdropped.

"Okay, but what do you mean 'destroy anything too huge for the military to handle?"

"Err... You'll find out soon..."

With that, the conversation ended, leaving Makiko curious & nervous.

NEXT DAY

"I wonder what makes it so... 'fragile' in handling Kyohara-san that makes the military want to pay me?"

Makiko walked uneasily, still wondering about Meryl's words on her 'friend'. And as she said, Makiko is going to find out soon enough....

BOOM!!!!!!!

"NANI??!! That... That sounded from my school!"

Makiko had a feeling to what or who caused that explosion... As she came inside the gates passing through the parking lot of Mercedes Benz, Alfa Romeos & other cars, she then made it to the source of the explosion in the midst of panic between the students. The explosion came from the shoe lockers area, and there was Aoi, behind a protective barrier of a board, back facing the entrance of the school and holding a small ignition button.

"Ano... Kyohara-san, why did you blow up the shoe lockers?"

"Makiko? If you need an explanation, it is because I found a foreign object near my locker"

"A foreign object?"

Aoi then held up a small piece of hair.

"And... How does THAT make it a foreign object?"

Makiko asked uneasily.

"Someone has entered my domain, and this person could have placed a dynamite, bomb, or other dangerous objects in my locker. So I took a safety measure and..."

"Blew your locker up? -.-;;;"

"Correct"

Makiko walked over to Aoi's locker and looked inside to find a simple advertisement of the upcoming festival, now in shards from the explosion.

"Kyohara-san! No one here in Eitoku or anyone else for that matter would put a bomb in a student's shoe locker! Furthermore, the reason why 'someone has entered your domain' is to place this announcement in your shoe locker!"

Makiko held up the leftover shard of paper in front of Aoi, exasperatedly with a small sweat mark.

(So this is what Mayoto-san meant... Maybe I should've accepted the payment offer afterall)
