The steady, constant rhythm of rain pounding upon the treetops, and the dulled thuds of liquid splattering upon grass and cold soil was very calming and comforting. She inhaled deeply, breathing in the wet, loamy scent of the saturated earth. The rain continued to drip rhythmically; beads of water caressing her lovely, pale face. "I always have loved water… rain's just another form of water… so I love it." She blinked back a bit as a stray drop fell near the corner of her eye. Taking one more glance at the slightly damp parchment, she rolled it back up and held it close to her heart. "Oh, please, Goddesses… please, don't let this be what I think it is, please don't…"
