Koenma2: Hello every one! This story is an idea I've been toying around
with for some time.

We zoom through the stars as we reach a planet near the edge of our solar system. We stop on one little green planet. The planet is Bunda. It was just a simple little survey station. Not much happens here. Just a bunch of scientists studying the flora and fauna. That was how it was for about a year, and then hell arrived. A brain bug and several thousand arachnids arrived on the planet. Lucky for the humans they landed on the other side of the planet. A marine squad was sent to take out the infestation. They were sent about three months ago. The bigwigs back on Earth blamed it on the bugs. But what they didn't was an XT had landed on the planet a week before the marines arrived. It was a young blooded warrior of the yautja race. He had been reckless on his last hunt and was impregnated by a hard meat egg carrier. His ship crashed 10 clicks from the survey post. The yautja died and gave birth to a brooding. When the marines arrived the observation post was empty and had seemed to be attacked. They explored it down to its basement layer. By the time they reached level four a weird organic substance was attached to the walls and floors and ceiling. With each level they went there was more of it. Then they reached the basement level. It was pitch black so they turned on their light, which was their first and final mistake. The trumpeting screech of drones rang through the air. Hundreds upon hundreds upon hundreds of obsidian black bugs rushed at the marines. The thirty men and women never stood a chance. Twenty of them were left alive; the other ten became food for the hive. The twenty left alive were about to experience a fate worst then death. In seven hours the hive had twenty new warriors. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
The brain bug was seriously worried. In a span of a week two ships had entered the atmosphere and then there was no activity. It had also noticed the disappearance of several hundred arachnids. It knew that another force must be living on this world.

They had been in hyper sleep for about a month. The pilots took the three ships out of hyperspace. The small green planet was only an hour fly away. The head commander stood on the main ship's observation deck. He shook his head in disgust and looked on the little world. He voiced his thoughts to the empty void.
"Why the hell did they send six hundred men and women to destroy a nest just because the first team hadn't responded? We are about to undertake a full-scale assault on a very small nest; those idiots must think a brain bug resides here. Oh well. This will be a routine assault. I doubt any more than fifty will die." His cell phone rang. "Yes?" "Commander Leflagga your presence is requested on the barracks overseeing deck, we are about to wake up the troops." "Fine, I'll be there in ten." The commander left the observation deck to greet the marines. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ The two races thought that what would happen on this planet was to be routine. But what they didn't know was this was to be a war of unbridled destruction.
