A different Daniel : Part 4
Disclaimer: I only own Alissa.
Alissa woke to the feel of being jostled around and thrown to the floor.
"Hey! What's the big idea?" Alissa didn't remember that she had been kidnapped and that kidnappers usually don't take to kindly to insults.
The guard took the butt of his gun and rammed it upside her head. It hurt a lot but she didn't give them the satisfaction of crying out. Instead she pretended to pass out. She had forgotten about Daniel until the untied them and dragged Daniel off to a cell across from hers. He didn't look too bad. He only had that cut and that was repairable. They let them rest about an hour until they came to Daniel's cell and dragged him off through a thick, black door. She assumed he was awake now since she could hear shouts coming from the enemy asking questions about a Stargate.
"What's a Stargate?" She asked herself quietly. Then she heard a crashing sound and someone hitting something. Hard. She could hear the thump noises that were being caused by someone hitting something. All the way outside. A couple of hours later the door opened again and they dragged Daniel out again. They threw him in his cell and then turned to her. They just looked at her. Then one of them turned and whispered something in his ear. Then the guard said something about her not working there and she probably wouldn't know anything. Then the just walked off into the room. She waited until they were gone to slide over to see if something had happened to Daniel. She was horrified at what she saw. Daniel was covered in bruises and scrapes and had blade marks all over him. His face was covered in blood. She wanted to get out and help him but she couldn't. The bars wouldn't allow her to. She started to yell for the guards. When they came she asked if she could go and help her friend. They looked at each other and looked as if to contemplate the idea.
"You may, but we are very skeptical about this so we'll put the alarms on. And don't try to escape because we had pressure sensitive floors, invisible lasers, and if the door is tampered with it will release an ear splitting alarm."
"Thank you." She said as they lead her to Daniel's cell. As soon as they left she went over to Daniel and checked his pulse. It was still there. Next she checked to see if there was any broken bones. There were two broken ribs and a fractured arm. She assumed this because they sunk in more than the others when she pushed on them. Then she applied pressure to the cuts he had. The one from the rope and the latest one he had gotten. After that she moved him onto the bed and covered him up with the blanket tightly. She had gotten her degree in medicine while she was in collage. She got in next to him and wrapped her arms around him gently, so not to aggravate his wounds. He felt cold and she decided to add her body heat to his to make sure his temp. didn't fall. She fell asleep next to him to the sound of his heart beating in his chest.
