Lizzie, Gordo and Miranda were sitting in Lizzie's back garden wondering
what they could do over the summer holiday. Gordo was 16 and had passed his
driving licence earlier that month so they didn't have to rely on their
parents to take them places. Lizzie's parents had told her that they were
going away for 2 weeks so she had to look after Matt. She was not happy
about this but then luckily Lenny's parents said that they would look after
Matt so Lizzie had the house all to herself.
In the end they decided to go and play mini golf. It was a very nice day and it was the first day of the summer holiday and they thought that golf would be lots of fun. They all got into Gordo's car and Gordo drove them to the golf place. It was a very short journey as there was hardly anyone else on the road.
When they got there, they paid for the clubs and balls and then they set off. They had lots and lots of fun. Lizzie won and Gordo lost. Miranda and Lizzie teased Gordo about losing and Gordo got annoyed but not in a bad way. He told them to shut up or he wouldn't drive them home. At that point they shut up. It was a long walk home and they had no money for the bus. They didn't want to play another round so they got into Gordo's car and drove back to Lizzie's house.
It was completely strange to walk into an empty house during the summer. It was usually always full of Matt's mates during the summer. One summer when Matt was 12 (he's about 14 now) he invited so many people that Lizzie's parents went completely ballistic. The house was filled with people and Matt didn't even know half of them.
Flashback
"MATT!" Lizzie's mum shouts at the top of her voice.
"YOUR IN TROUBLE MATT MCGUIRE!" Lizzie's dad yelled extremely angry.
"THEIR LIZZIE'S MATES NOT MINE!" Matt shouted down the stairs.
"WE DOUBT THAT MATT!" Lizzie's dad yelled his face now going completely red.
"FINE DON'T BELIEVE ME!" Matt screamed trying to sound upset.
"MATT WE KNOW THEIR NOT LIZZIE'S MATES BECAUSE LIZZIE IS OUT WITH MIRANDA AND GORDO SO GET YOURSELF DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!" Lizzie's dad was angrier then he had ever been before and Matt knew it so he did as he was told.
"Dad, they just turned up, I don't even know who half of them are! I tried to stop them but they didn't listen to me, they just barged in!" Matt tried to defend himself.
"I DON'T CARE YOU COULD'VE RANG US AND WE WOULD'VE GOT THEM OUT!"
"I didn't want to disturb you!"
"RIGHT EVERYONE OUT!" Lizzie's mum screamed. "I MEAN IT! EVERYBODY OUT!"
After she said that everyone left.

When they got to Lizzie's house they all sat down on the sofa in the lounge thinking about what they could do next. Lizzie came up with the idea of throwing a party even though her parents had said no parties, how would they find out? Miranda and Gordo thought it was a great idea so they started to call all of their old and new classmates.
Loads of people turned up to the house, most of them didn't even know who's party it was but they just turned up anyway. It got really out of hand and was even happening outside! Miranda went to go check on the people outside and as she was crossing the road a speeding car hit her. She flew of the ground and landed with a hit on the pavement.
The car driver had had tried to stop but it was no use he still hit Miranda. He skidded and jumped out of the car to see if Miranda was all right. Everyone who was outside ran inside the house and Lizzie wanted to know what all the commotion was so she went outside and that's when she saw Miranda, all bruised and unconscious on the pavement. She ran over to her and checked her pulse.
