MEANWHILE WITH TIDUS AND PAINE
"What's up with you?" Paine asks when she catches up to him.
"Nothing. Just go back to your lover girl!" He snarls.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"You know exactly what it's supposed to mean." He grounds out in a deep voice.
"That I've finally moved on? Is that it? Well, if it is then you need to stop now."
He visibly sagged. He slumped to the floor.
"What's really going on?"
"I feel like your moving on and leaving us all behind. Leaving behind your past. That you'll want to stay here and not go back to your friends."
Paine slumps down to the floor beside him. "I have to move on, Tidus. It's hard everyday wondering where -she- is. Sandi is indirectly helping me. She really is. I think she cares and that's what I need right now. Not a lot of guff like your giving me."
"I'm sorry, Paine. I-"
Paine cuts him off before he could finish. "And I do want to get back and if Sandi is willing, I want to bring her there, too. I want to make sure it's ok with everybody though first before I ask her."
"If she truly makes you happy and she does care about you, then I'm all for the two of you being together."
"Even if it's taking Lulu's place?"
"Even if!" He smiles at me and I smile back. "But are you sure you want to bring her to our world? I mean it's all good with me and I know it is for Wakka. If he wasn't gay I'd say that he was inlove with her."
"Jealous?!" Paine pokes him in the ribs.
"Not at all, cuz i know that he's gay and so is she."
"Oh and by the way. I do want her to go and live with us. I think that she's the one."
"The one?"
"Yes." She grins.
"Isn't it a little early?"
"Nope. I just have a feeling that she's the one."
"Well I hope so for your sake."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"I just don't want you to get hurt again. You would take care of yourself when Lulu left and all you did was drink."
She sighed. "Was I that bad?"
"Yes." He got up and started to leave. "I want to go apologize to Sandi and Wakka."
"That would be nice." She got up to and walked behind him to the kitchen.
AT THE KITCHEN
"Ahem!" Tidus clears his throat. "I would like to apologize to you and Wakka. I just got a little outta place. So many things-"
I walked up to him and gave him a hug. "You don't need to apologize. Wakka explained to me what was going on and I totally understand."
"What?!? HUH!?!"
"Yeah, I thought that she needed to understand since she thought it was her fault and we know it wasn't. And as for you apologizing to me. No need to, babe. I understand totally." He pulled Tidus to him and gave him a big kiss.
"Awh, babe. You're the best. I love you."
"I love you too. Oh by the way I was wondering if Sandi could come back to our time and live with us."
"That's only if you guys wanted me to."
Paine brightens up visibly. "I would love it if you could come, Actually I was just gonna ask you all if you would come. That is if we find our way back." She gave me a big hug and a kiss.
I kiss her back. "I would love to. I really would."
I hold Paine.

"Even if it's taking Lulu's place?"

"Jealous?!" Paine pokes him in the ribs.
"Not at all, cuz i know that he's gay and so is she."
"Oh and by the way. I do want her to go and live with us. I think that she's the one."
"The one?"
"Yes." She grins.
"Isn't it a little early?"
"Nope. I just have a feeling that she's the one."
"Well I hope so for your sake."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"I just don't want you to get hurt again. You would take care of yourself when Lulu left and all you did was drink."
