Summary: On a beautiful moonlit night, Hiro muses on the things he could never have...

Warnings: Um... yaoi, incest... and plain rubbish. Aye.

Note: I was having a bad case of writer's block, and got a sudden inspiration after listening to 'In the Moonlight' by Kotani Kinya. That song always reminds me of Hiroshi. Music seems to help my muses a lot. So I put it on loop and typed this out. Flames will be laughed at... but you can flame me if you want. I'm expecting a lot, because I forgot how story went... kuso. I also forgot how to spell Hiroshi's older brother's name, so please don't sue me if I got it wrong. .;;

In the Moonlight
by Ledge

Such a beautiful night – the sky was free of clouds and the full moon was shining brightly, surrounded a colony of shimmering stars. Nakano Hiroshi sighed and rested his chin on his knees – his legs had been pulled up on the bench he was sitting on so that he could hug them.

Hiro considered himself an ordinary guy free from any worries and abnormalities – no weird boyfriend that didn't seem to care, no loud and obnoxious boyfriend that hopped about while squealing, and no younger brother that claimed to be a monk but had been caught masturbating in front of a Nittle Grasper poster.

But that was a long time ago.

Since joining Bad Luck, his world seemed to rotate the wrong way. He could have been doing something else, but Shuichi changed his life. The bundle of energy veered him towards a different world.

If he were to go on with his initial plan, he would never have met all these people – Yuki, Ryuichi, Tohma, Suguru, Noriko...

...and K.

Unwanted tears filled his eyes and he couldn't hold back any longer – he cried, hiding his face in his knees. The hot droplets burnt his cool cheeks but he kept on weeping. He had never felt so empty, so lost.

"Hiro...?"

He froze.

"Hiro, are you all right? You didn't come home from dinner, and I got worried."

He took a few deep breaths to calm himself, then wiped his face and looked up at the worried face of his older brother, Yuuzi.

"Oh... sorry. I forgot that I was supposed to be home for dinner," he said.

Yuuzi sighed with relief. "For a moment, I thought you got kidnapped by fans." He snickered. "Imagine if they called up and asked for ransom."

Hiro forced a weak smile. "You'd pay them, right?"

Yuuzi's expression softened. "Of course... You're my little brother, after all."

Something in his brother's voice made the tears spring up in Hiroshi's eyes. He tried to blink them away, but they forced their way out and he let out a choked sob, covering his face with his hands.

"Hiro..." Yuuzi knelt down in front of his younger brother. "Don't cry..."

He pulled Hiro's hands away from his face and kissed him gently, just like he did long ago whenever his younger brother cried.

"I feel so lonely, Yuuzi... Please... don't leave me here..."

"I'm not leaving, Hiroshi. Trust me," whispered Yuuzi.

And he remained there while the moon bathed them with its reflected glow.

(dodges rotten apples) That was just something to help take away my friggin' writer's block, dammit! I know it sucks, and the loopholes are so big, you could stick elephants through them! I didn't even plan to make it YuuzixHiro!
