STARLIGHT AND ARTEMIS

INTRO

Starlight Marie sat on the edge of the orphanage bed, silently fuming to herself. Miss Sandra, the head of the orphanage, mad her so mad. Miss Sandra was obsessed with etiquette, so one wrong move or manner at the dinner table and you got sent upstairs.

Starlight had used the wrong fork, so therefore, upstairs and no dinner. Starlight felt something burn with inside her. It was anger, but this anger was out of her control. She felt it growing inside of her, consuming every bit of her mind.

She heard footsteps on the stairs, and ran to hide. She was going to cause some mayhem, major mayhem. She glanced around her, looking for something to hit Miss Sandra with. She found the perfect thing. It was a statuette some other girl had. It was very ugly, but would be most effective in knocking Miss Sandra out.

Starlight saw the door open, and watched with glee as the statuette rose into the air. She had no control now. Her ancestors were taking over now, and they were very good at causing trouble, despair, fear, ect. Starlight watched with glee as the statuette flew at Miss Sandra. She never even knew what was coming.

Starlight thought that now was her chance to escape, to go out and find her true destiny. For she was Starlight Marie Slytherin, the last and unknown female in the line of the Slytherins. She had the power that Hathor had over the Egyptian men over all. She was the goddess of evil, or at least she was destined to be.

But fate has its way, and obviously, it didn't want Starlight to be transformed, because, Starlight met someone that would make her be infamous with the Slytherins for quite awhile.

CHAPTER ONE

A friend

Starlight awoke next to her trunk. She had an aching headache, and seemed to have a little bit of amnesia about what had happened last night.

All she knew is that she escaped. She didn't know how, or why, but all she knew is that she did. She looked around her. She appeared to be in the bad part of the neighborhood. It was completely destroyed, and ashes were everywhere. It was obvious quite a few houses had been burnt down.

She started to fear the place, as if she knew that some great evil happened here, but somehow, she felt relaxed, as if she knew nothing would harm her here. She glanced around. The only building left standing was an old brick shed. She decided to check it out, see if anything was in it. She figured she'd most likely be here at night, so she'd scan the place for sleeping supplies as well.

But what she entered gave her a huge shock. It was nothing like what an old shed is supposed to be like inside. There were no rakes, rats, or bird nests, but only emptiness. She felt a sudden chill that swept through her blonde hair. And then she felt it. The platform she was standing on was moving downwards.

She panicked, but that only resulted in her fainting. She blacked out.

A few hours later, she awoke, finding herself on an elaborate bed, with maroon and gold trimmings.

Then she saw a brown haired girl. As soon as the girl saw that Starlight was awake, she said, "Hello! I'm Artemis Gryffindor."
