Hi everyone. I know I haven't updated in a while and I will tell you why.
(Insert an "Oh dear God" or "Oh dear Buddha" here.) My English teacher gave
us this project to write a story and mine was pretty long so I've been
pulling my hair over it for almost the past week. But I'm here now with the
new chapter so you can all be happy! Read Review Enjoy. Standard Disclaimer

The Other Child
~Chapter eight~
**************************************************************************** ********************************************************************
Boku and I entered the house to be greeted by Oz running circles around out legs.
"Come here you," Bo picked him up and let him outside on his lead.
"Bout time you guys showed up," said Kurama entering the room. "We thought all those people from the wedding had caught you."
"No," said Bo. "We just took a long detour."
At that moment Yoru came downstairs in jeans and a tee shirt with a towel draped over her shoulders keeping her wet hair off her back.
"A very long detour," she commented.
"I thought you took a shower before you came to the wedding," said Bo.
"I did, but ya know the smoky atmosphere with all those people smoking cigars. If I start right now I can at least cut a day out of how long the smell will be in my hair." Yoru explained.
"I think I remember you mentioning that before...." said Bo.
"Whatever," said Kurama. "I just finished cooking, let's eat."
**************************************************************************** ********************************************************************
Boku's pale skin glowed from the single beam of moonlight that peeked through the shade. I traced the lines on her back.
"Hiei," she muttered tiredly. "I love you."
"So you've mentioned," I said.
"I did earlier with Yusuke standing there. I just wanted you to know I meant it."
"Thanks. I think."
"Whoa! Get up get up!" she exclaimed jumping off the bed and out into the hall and to the bathroom.
"Bo?" I knocked on the door. "Are you okay?"
"From the sounds of it," said Kurama coming out of the next room. "You're going to have a very nice time these next few months."
I leaned against the wall and groaned. What was it with people and messing up my romantic moments?"
**************************************************************************** ********************************************************************
"How about Kusuke?" I asked.
"No," said Boku. "That reminds me too much of cuscus and it's making me hungry."
"You're always hungry," I protested. She rested her hands on her now rather large belly.
"I'm eating for two," she explained.
"Yes but when you put that next your your normal eating habits it's more like you're eating for four."
"Shut up. What's the next name you've got?"
"How about Sonorous?"
"The kid will hate us forever if we name them that."
"Well I don't see you with any suggestions!"
"Well I was thinking like Atari or Coleco."
"Are food and video games all you think about?"
"No...Tthen how about Shinwa? Or Kaiso?"
"Kaiso? May as well name it Cairo."
"Nope it's too Kurama to name your kid after a country."
Yoru entered and sprawled out on the floor in front of us.
"The search for a name lives on?" she asked.
"Yes," I sighed.
"Has Bo brought out her video game names yet?"
"Yup," Bo and I said in unison.
Yoru laughed. "Good luck to both of you I say."
"I don't see why we can't wait then name it when it's actually here and matters," I said.
"It does matter!" snapped Boku.
"That's not what I mean!" I said.
"That's actually a pretty good idea," said Yoru. "The baby will come out and tell you its name. I read it in a book once."
"What did they name their baby?" asked Boku
"Happy." said Yoru. Bo smacked her forehead.
But in the end we decided not to rack our brains but to just wait. It wouldn't be long anyways.

Okay everyone this was like the freebee chapter. Because for some strange reason I wanted nine chapters so I had to fill up space. Oh and thanks for names Izanami they're great. I haven't decided if I'm gonna use one or not. Hope you're not mad about the Kusuke/Cuscus thing...that's actually a cool name. (Sweatdrop)
