The Other Child
~Chapter eleven~

"Shh....we can't let Bo find out." The voice was Yoru's.
"What about Hiei?" This time Kurama.
"He'll find out soon enough."
"What do you think is going to happen?"
"How should I know? I wonder why he came back..."
"Especially with the wedding so close."
The voices faded and I heard footsteps. What, or more likely who were they talking about? I tuned myself back into the present when I realized that there were small fingers pulling on my pants leg.
"Kaiska!" I demanded. "Let go of me! These are the 'nice' clothes that I am being forced to wear to the wedding!"
She looked up at me, her gray eyes shining under her dark hair.
"What?" I asked.
She barred her fangs at me, (fangs courtesy of her mother) then moved back to the chair she had been 'assigned.'
Kaiska and Yuuga grew a little faster then regular children because they were demons. (And part Vampire/Oracle) But Kaiska refuses to speak. At least Yuuga has formed some words. But I guess a quiet child is better than a chatterbox.
I sighed looking over myself one last time I moved away from the mirror and behind the changing curtain to put on my regular clothes. My head swarmed with thoughts. Who were they talking about? Who came back?
When I came from behind the curtain I heard voices in the hall. Kaiska was gone. I figured that Yoru or Kurama had come and gotten her. They had Yuuga with them. I decided to look for Boku.
After walking for a bit I ran into her.
"Hello," I greeted her. For a very strange unknown reason, even with everything I had heard I was in unusually high spirits.
"Hey," she said. "Where's Kaiska?"
"I believe Yoru and Kurama collected her."
"Let's go find them," she said. I slipped my arm around her shoulders as we walked. Outside we found Kurama playing with Yuuga. Yoru was walking from another part of the building. She carried a stack of papers. I didn't ask, we all knew the papers were for the wedding.
"Hey!" Bo waved. "Where's Kaiska?"
"With you." said Yoru.
"With Hiei," said Kurama.
"No," said Bo. "Hiei said that she was with you."
"Nope," said Kurama. "Yuuga and I have been here for almost a half hour, no sign of her."
"She was with me," I said. "And just five minutes or so ago she wasn't I thought you had come to get her."
"Not us," said Yoru. "I've been inside."
"Well stop talking!" snapped Bo. "Find her!"
I didn't know what came over Bo at that moment. But we did as she said. Bo, Kurama carrying Yuuga ran back inside. I sprinted around outside. Yoru took flight gathering a view of the land. Kaiska was nowhere to be found. We all eventually ran into each other.
"I couldn't find her," said Kurama.
"Neither could the rest of us," said Yoru.
"We have to keep looking!" Bo slammed her fist against the wall. I tried to comfort her but she pushed me off.
"I have a theory," said Yoru.
"You do? What?" asked Bo, snapping to attention.
"Yusuke is back you guys," said Yoru. "He knew Bo was pregnant. Maybe he took Kaiska."
"No...." the whisper escaped Boku's lips as she ran.

Oooooooo..........Finally I got a new idea! (Jumps around happily) Okay going into story relapse CAN be good! (Skips away happily) I'll see you guys next chappy whenever that may be! Also read The Other Daughter the prologue story I wrote!
