Alrighty lets see.........Yeah I guess it's about time I wrote a new chapter; Boku-Sama over here is about to kill me so I guess I'll start. But hey you guys gotta read The Other Daughter, it's the prologue story to Other Child when Yoru first comes to Earth and finds Boku and the others and they find out they are sisters.

The Other Child

Chapter twelve

Everything seemed so empty without them, Boku and Kaiska were both gone. I just stood in the center of the room.

"Hey," I turned as Yoru entered.

"Mind if I join you?"

"Suit yourself."

She stood next to me with her hands in her pockets looking thoughtfully at the ceiling.

"Well?" she said.

"What?"

"You gonna go after her?"

"I can't. I've lost. She won't give up on getting Kaiska back and the only way is for her to return to him."

"That's sinking low. On both you and Yusuke's parts. Maybe Bo too. Actually Hiei, sometimes I get jealous."

This was new. "Why?"

"Because of you and Bo. You two are so devoted to each other."

"Well what about Kurama?"

"You know I love him. But I know that deep inside his fox heart he loves my sister."

"What?" I knew Kurama used to like Boku. But that was before we had met Yoru. This was becoming strange.

"Think," she said. "What if Boku and Kurama were together. Kaiska and Yuuga would never exist, I would probably be dead, and Yusuke wouldn't be around, and you would be alone."

"What are you getting at?" I snapped at her. "Yusuke kidnapped my daughter and now he's going to take my Boku again! And I have to sit here and listen to you lecture on the 'what ifs?' I'm not going to stand for this everything I love is about to slip through my fingers!"

"So you're going after her?"

"Hell yeah! What do you think?"

She laughed.

"I'm glad that worked! Would you like me to come with you?"

"I'll be okay?" Huh? What just happened here?

"Good luck Hiei." She gave me a quick hug before turning to leave.

"Yoru," I said.

"Hm?" She turned back around.

"That thing you said about being jealous. Is that true?"

She smiled. "Maybe I'll tell you some other time. No if you could go any slower with this rescue that would be great."

"I'm just leaving!"

She crossed her arms and shook her head all the while smiling as I dropped out the window and set off. She had just caught me in one of her mind games. And I'm grateful. Too bad thanks aren't my style.

This chappy was SHORT! But I'm going to update SOON! Kay? Review and stuff!
