Chapter Thirteen
I tracked them all to a small house on the outskirt of a town about 20 miles from the house. I leapt up to a window, Yusuke and Boku were inside. I focused in on their conversation.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" That was my Boku opening the conversation.
"What are you talking about?" asked Yusuke.
"Where is my daughter?"
"Oh that." Yusuke half-sneered. "Bring her in!"
A girl with short brown hair walked into the room. No sign of Kaiska.
"Where's the kid?" demanded Yusuke.
"I let her go. This isn't right Yusuke. Because of a broken heart?" The brown haired girl demanded.
"Keiko! This is more than a broken heart! She crushed my pride used me! And in the end trampled over my feelings all for that bastard Hiei!"
"Leave Hiei out of this!" Boku snapped. Yusuke slapped her.
"I wasn't talking to you."
Boku slapped him back.
"I suggest you find my daughter if you ever want me back."
"You mean that if II bring Kaiska or whatever back you'll stay?"
"Kaiska..... And I don't seem to have another choice."
"Good." said Yusuke.
What are you doing Boku?
"Find the kid," Yusuke told the Keiko girl.
"No."
"What?"
"I won't be part of this any longer! Boku Yusuke has been lying to you this whole time! He doesn't love you! He wants your powers! He wants the bite on his neck like that Hiei person!"
Yusuke pushed Keiko into the back room. Yusuke crossed his arms and laughed a little.
"Yusuke....." said Bo. "Is that true? This was all a lie?"
"Don't get me wrong Bo," said Yusuke. He cupped her face in his hands. "I love you. But every time I touch you." he ran his hand through her hair. "I feel your tremendous power. And I want it. Now we can do this the easy way or the hard way. Which will it be?"
"Neither!" Boku pushed him away and slid her feet into her fighting stance.
I should help her. But how? What could I do? What was this whole thing with the bite on my neck? Boku had failed to mention this. Then I heard footsteps below me. The Keiko girl was running away with Kaiska. She was telling things to my daughter. I quick focused in.
"Don't worry little demon," Keiko told her. "It'll be okay, I'm taking you back home!"
Kaiska was safe. I could feel Keiko's good aura. What was she doing with Yusuke?
I looked back in the window. Yusuke and Boku were locking combat. Yusuke's shirt was missing and he was bleeding from a wound on his shoulder. Bo's sleeves were frayed and tattered, and there was a slash in her shirt across her stomach. She had a look of hatred in her eyes. Yet they were both enjoying the fight.
"All you did was use me!" cried Bo.
"Others would do the same! I told you I loved you! Yet you didn't even have those types of feelings for me. All for Hiei!"
"That's right! It is all for Hiei! That bite can only happen one! And I chose Hiei!"
At that moment I grabbed my neck as the scar of the bite mark started to burn white hot. What was happening to me?
Alrighty! That was chapter thirteen everyone! And just a note the chappy title "Luck" doesn't really have any relevance to chapter besides the fact that it's chapter 13. You know "Luck" and "Thirteen?" Opposites! Okay so review and I hope you enjoyed!
