Yoh usually never blundered into this aisle. Not after that incident three months ago involving a tittering female cashier and a fallen display of a few unmentionable items. No, it was much too traumatic for him, and he avoided entering that aisle at all costs, often trudging his way around the entire store, walking in a zigzag motion, certain that one step in there would mean instant death.

So of course, he wouldn't willingly enter the aisle not even to purchase Anna's lotions (in which he asked for the cashier to get it for him nicely to avoid any embarrassing situations). But today Anna had actually accompanied him to the store (he never really asked, only assumed she'd buy some more toothpaste since they've been in need of some for a few days now), so of course all he had to do was lag behind, making sure to keep a firm grip on the basket and not get in Anna's way.

The second song on the Bob CD had just ended when the sight of blaringly pink signs glomped him mercilessly. His mouth fell dramatically to the ground and his eyes nearly bulged an inch out of their sockets.

"ANNA!" he whispered hoarsely. "W-What--?!"

"I needed some new shampoo," she said crisply, making her way past the display of shaving razors and gels (complete with scantily clad women showing off their amazingly smooth and moistured skin) and towards a bright display for toiletries. She ignored Yoh's sputtering and proceeded to check different brands of shampoo with narrowed eyes.

"Y-You can use some of mine!" he said frantically. "Just, can we get out of here please?"

He was silenced by an icy glare, and he had to edge quickly away to avoid her oncoming slap.

"Your shampoo smells like a overgrown forest," she said. "I don't want my hair to smell like I've been tramping around in the wilderness."

She then proceeded to check some of the shampoos hidden in the back of the display, ignoring him entirely. Yoh gave an exasperated sigh and awkwardly stood behind her with his eyes staring straight at his sandaled feet, trying to ignore the flushed feeling growing on the back of his neck. He also tried avoiding looking directly at any other display other than the neutral shampoo one since everywhere else seemed to set off warning signals in his head.

"Annaa"

"If you're going to whine like a child," she said irritably, "you could at least help me choose out what brand is the best."

His hand shot out quickly and grabbed a thin bottle with a colorful illustration of dancing peaches. Anna stared at him.

"Peaches?" she said, slightly taken aback. Yoh shrugged nervously, and jammed his hands into his large pockets.

"I like peaches."

He watched her take this in and inwardly prayed for salvation. Then, to his immense relief, she placed the bottle of shampoo delicately into the basket and began to walk away. Yoh gave a silent cheer and followed her with much alacrity.

"Don't look to your left," she said over her shoulder.

"Why?" He foolishly inclined his head slightly to see what she was indicating and was so startled he nearly screamed. Without a second glance, Yoh bolted out of the store, his face a flourescent tomato red, mumbling quite insanely to himself as he fled. Anna gave a bemused smile as she watched his retreating back before she walked towards said display.

She stood in front of the brightly packaged products for a few moments mentally counting the what day of the month it was before she decidely bought a package and walked calmly towards the cashier.
