I'm growing up too fast,
Unlike many of my peers,
Who want thier childhoods to last,
I always stuck out,
Was always one,
To cry, scream and pout.

My inner child,
Wanted to be free,
Just wanted to be older,
To make my own choices, Just be me.

But Adults were always in the way,
I could never be alone,
Do things my own way,
Nothing I ever say or do is right,
I'm constantly into,
Numerous fights,

It seems as if I will forever be treated this way,
It seems as if,
a Child, I shall forever stay.
