Ginny's mane of hair flew behind her as she ran. Ran away from everything she had ever dreamed for. Harry Potter was her one true love and he had finally asked her out. Yet if he was her one true love then why was she running away from him? She hid behind a tree and leaned against it.
Confusing thoughts enter my mind as I see that look in his eyes
A thousands words can never describe
Why I'm doing this to you
Ginny heard his feet pound the ground. He was running after her but stopped once he did not see her. He went over to a tree and leaned against it. Ginny could not see him anymore and did not know where he was. She decided to stay behind the tree just in case he was hiding. Ready to pop out once she showed herself. Tears came to her eyes. The small liquid crystals silently made there way out of her eyes. They hit the ground with only a tiny sound. Nothing that could be heard from a few feet away. Maybe if someone was leaning against the same tree he would be able to hear him or her.
Nothing left for me to do
Silently I cry for you
Wishing you will never hear them
Harry stood completely still as he heard a sound. The noise seemed close. He dared not look behind the tree. If it was her he was afraid that she would run again. Ginny wondered why she was doing this. Didn't she always wish to be Harry's love? Maybe it was told that way but what happens if that wasn't the whole story? Ginny sobbed and rubbed her eyes.
Yes I know you are my hero
Saving me from all I fear
What happens though when I don't need you?
Thoughts raced through his mind. Harry found himself remembering all the times he rescued her. In his second year at the Chambers of Secrets. He was so scared that night but did he show it? No, he couldn't. If he did he knew all would be lost. The time when Voldemort came back, now that was the worst of all. Ginny came and helped him along with her friend, that crazy girl. She was there all the time...Ginny realized what a fool she was. She didn't need Harry anymore so why fall in love with him? The only reason she did in the first place was because he was her hero. She had become her own hero now.
Why must all these things be real?
Why can't you rescue me again?
I must be the biggest fool
Thinking that I needed you
Ginny had no more tears. "Harry." She said and stepped out from behind the tree. "Yes." He turned towards her voice knowing what was coming. Ginny looked into his perfect green eyes, the eyes that used to make her blush. "I don't need you." He nodded and walked away. Ginny watched with no emotion. She did not cry for this gave her no pain.
You used to be my hero
You used to fight all my fears
Now I fight my own
Cause I'm my own hero now
