hey guys...this is my first story so it may not be that good..torch me if you want....
All I wanted to say
She sat in deep thought while her classmates all danced and had a good time. They were all trying to enjoy it, though on the inside of each of them were crying on the inside, not wanting to go. Tomorrow they would get on the train and get on with their lives. They would all go and get jobs and start families, some never returning to the place that had helped them find out who they really were. In this place they all made friendships, relationships, and enemies that would last life times. The place where they grew from children to grown ups. Leaving behind teachers who cared about them more than they would ever know, or care to admit. Everyone was trying to enjoy their last night at the place a few called home. And yet their was one. One girl who instead of thinking how to say in touch with them all was only thinking about how to say good-bye, to him. But she hadn't the slightest idea of what she would say. She glanced across the hall and saw him standing next to who most called 'the slut'. 'now or never'she told herself and got up to cross threw the masses. Once she got threw she noticed he had left the wall and was being dragged onto the dance floor. She composed herself and walked over to them, tapping him on the shoulder. "What do you want" the 'slut' barked at her Ignoring her she turned to him "Can I talk to you for a moment" He looked at her oddly but curiosity over took him "Yeah" "But draco.." the 'slut' whined at him "Chill out, I'll be back" he said rolling his eyes at her "Shall we" he said ushering his arms toward the balcony
She walked out of the doors with him following, she went over and looked off out to the lake thinking of what she was about to say as he stood impatiently behind her... 2 minutes past.. "well are you going to say something or not" "sorry, thinking, umm..I know were not friends.." "well duh" "shut up and let me talk, I know were not friends and we probably never will be...but I just wanted to say ,Good Luck, with live with everything. I know you think all I care about is books and my grades and what no, but I just don't like seeing bad things happen to people. I know we may never talk to each other again but I want you to take care of yourself, don't lose sight of the light. I know you don't care but if you ever need someone to talk to, or anything....I'm only an owl or floo away." He just stood there watching her back. She hadn't turned around at all while she said this. She finally turned around and glanced at him. "that's all I wanted to say." And she started to head back inside, until he grabbed her wrist. "hermoine"she turned to face him "thanks"then he smiled at her a true smile, not the Malfoy grin. With that they both headed back inside to the end of the year ball to enjoy their last day of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.
