Inuyasha vs. the Demon Hunter Dante

Chapter One
Ivory and Steel
After a long journey, Inuyasha and the gang find a nice town t settle in for the night. When everyone is fast asleep Inuyasha decides to go for a walk in the woods, to let his mind rest and to enjoy the peacefulness of the wild.
He comes across a nice tree about 15 feet high and stops. He closely examines the tree and then leaps to the highest branch in a single bounce. He closes his eyes and slowly drifts away to sleep.
Suddenly he hears the sound of a snapping twig fallowed by what seemed a body dropping to the ground.
"OWE!" screams an all too familiar voice. Inuyasha scans the ground to find a fallen Kagome on the ground.
"Uh Inuyasha...could you help me...uh..." Her eyes slide downwards. "Uh...Climb the tree..."
Inuyasha burst into laughter.
"Why don't you help yourself? What's wrong afraid of heights?
Kagome face turns hot red with anger while Inuyasha is still bellowing in his obnoxious laughter.
"SIT BOY!" she madly screams.
Inuyasha breaks true at least 5 branches and pounds against the ground loud enough to wake the village.
"What'd you do that for you psycho?" he says as he clenches his bottom.
"Now who's the one laughing?" she says as she laughs endlessly.
Suddenly the laughter ends as Inuyasha grabs Kagome and leaps into the air. They're fallowed by a large explosion. Inuyasha lands safely and picks Kagome on the ground.
"Hahahaha...So you're the half demon...Inuyasha," says a mysterious voice.
"Yeah and what's it too you pal?" He responds as he grips his sword.
"Nothing...Just expected more then a off brand mutt," responds the stranger.
"Listen pal if your going insult me why not do it where I can see ya?"
"Yeah...Whatever." The stranger steps out from the shadow to reveal a man dressed in red with odd white hair wielding a giant sword.
"The names Dante, and I'm here for those little crystals you carry around."
Inuyasha laughs, "Yeah right pal, what the hell makes you think I'd just hand over my jewel shards to you?
"I never asked you to." He responded as he dashed at Inuyasha with incredible speed. If it had anyone else., they wouldn't have seen him. But Inuyasha was different. He quickly blocked with Tensaiga.
"Nice little blade." Dante joked, "Did you get it from mundus?"
Inuyasha jumped back in confusion, "who the hell is mundus?" Dante laughed, "You demons are all the same. Lie about who you work for just so I don't hurt you. And when that doesn't work you beg." Dante pulled out a bomb, "they always beg...."
Inuyasha was no fool. He quickly charged Dante and impaled him with his sword. Dante fell back as blood covered him and Inuyasha. Inuyasha stepped back to watch him.
"Yeah see now why you shouldn't try starting things?" said Inuyasha, "Its goin' get you stabbed." Kagome watched wide-eyed at the whole thing.
Amazingly the bloody Dante started laughing. "Oh man you gotta be kidding me." Dante pulled the word out and threw it on the ground. "You have any idea how many times that's happened to me?"
Inuyasha stepped back in amazement as red blood dripped from his clothes. "Wha...If you think I can't kill you." He slowly said, "then you dead wrong." Dante stared emotionlessly. "You keep on stabbing buddy." He replied.
Dante reached for something in his coat. He quickly pulled out two guns. "Meet my friends Ebony and Ivory I think you'll like them." He taunted.
Inuyasha was not discouraged.
