Yoh cradled his abused cheek, pretty swollen at that, as he blabbered endless apologies.
And that was when *it* happened. . .

A large book fell from the bookshelf, scattering most of its pages all over the filthy attic floor.
I had to groan as I imagined the hundreds of pages we had to pick up and organize later on. Well. . .at least I have Yoh here. . .
So we stared like idiots at the open book for a while, I don't know why, don't even bother to ask, until I had the initiative to approach the book and pick it up.
What? Did you expect Yoh to do it?
Upon doing so, I glanced at the plain blue cover. It was a fairytale book, containing. . .what else? I rolled my eyes. Fairytales. Only the Cinderella story was left though, the rest were scattered all over the attic.
I was tempted to touch the gold letterings. What's stopping me anyway? So I traced one of the letters with my fingertip.
No sooner had I done so, had a bright light enveloped the attic. . .and the book sucked us in. Literally.

~Welcome~ a voice said.
Yoh was first to recover from the initial shock. . .surprisingly. "Uh. . .yo?"
"Who are you?! Where did you take us?!" I demanded.
The narrator of this storybook I suppose, (the voice) didn't appear to hear.
~Hm. . .we seem to lack some characters~
And in an instant, Ren, Horo Horo, Pirika, Tamao, Chocolove, Manta, Lyserg, Ryu and even Hao popped out of nowhere. The narrator gave us quick instructions and another bright light came, sucking each of us to God knows where before anyone could even react.
The instructions? Yes, we were supposed play the roles of the characters in the fairy tales. The narrator person said he or she would be narrating for us (typical) to get on with the stinking story. Only when we've finished the whole fairy tale can we come back to reality. Why do we need to do it? So the worthless storybook will be fixed. (~,~)
If you've been expecting Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty or any other fairytale, YOU ARE DEAD WRONG.

Or maybe you're half-right. . .Narrator person said that because the pages were all scattered, the story we would be portraying would be kinda mixed up. He'd probably read the first page he sucks up from the attic floor. . .literally.
