Ryu sweat-dropped from his side of the mirror but leaned forwards to whisper something into Hao's ear.
"WHAT?!" Hao's voice echoed through the massive hallways.
"Send in the hunter, killer or whoever's available!"
~o~O~o~
Anna trudged down the winding paths of the woods. What? Did you expect me to wait for a murderer to attack me in the castle? Of course I know how the Snow White story works.

"Oh, and before I forget," Hao said while handing the hunter a box. "Bring me her spirit, as evidence that you have fulfilled your duty."
Yoh's twin handed him a dagger. "And this too."

I've been walking in the woods for at least half an hour now, and God I'm tired. Who wouldn't be anyway? The trees just become thicker each time I take a turn. I'm not going to admit I'm lost though. . .not in a billion years.

"Where is she?" The hunter said to himself as he rummaged through the kitchen for the blonde.
After a few moments the hunter chortled. "Silly me. . .I almost forgot that I'm a dowser."
~o~O~o~
Anna had already resorted to scraping the bark of every tree she passed by.
This is it, whether I admit it or not, it's obvious that I'm lost. . .not that anyone is here to know anyway.
I sighed and rolled my eyes as I sensed an aura nearby. Scratch that last comment. "Oh great, now someone's off to kill me in the woods."
There was a muffled noise behind the large oak tree that I had stripped clean from its bark just to vent my frustration on a while ago. Lyserg stepped out from his hiding place and took hold of a dagger.
I arched a brow.
"I'm really sorry Anna, please forgive me."
Lyserg dashed forwards to slash me. That was when a brown cat wearing a shirt (??) leapt out of the bushes and did an. . .OVERSOUL?! It was too fast that I didn't even get to see who the spirit was. And the cat, surprisingly, blocked the attack before I could even chant one of my spells.
~The hunter couldn't kill Anna so he told her to run off into the woods to hide from her wicked stepmother~
"Uh. . ." Lyserg stopped short from his attack and his eyes turned to dots.
It took a lot of my effort to stop myself from tearing my hair apart in aggravation, so I resulted to yelling.
"We're already in the woods!!"
There was a pause.
~ The hunter couldn't kill Anna so he told her to run off into the seven dwarves' house to hide from her wicked stepmother~
"Um. . .hide at the seven dwarves' home princess."
I probably had this stupid idea to thank the cat then, but when I looked down, it was gone. Weird.
So I just slogged down deeper into the forest to find the house. . .wherever it was.
~o~O~o~
Lyserg headed back for the castle to figure out just how to explain his failure to Hao when he caught sight of a red entity in the perimeter. Hao's spirit of fire was loitering around outside the castle. Who could have known? Lyserg thought, grinning, as he fingered the lid of the box Hao gave him.

Trust me, the cat has a REALLY important role in this story.
I'd like to thank people again! Sorry, it's really my obsession.
