Harper sat in his quarters alone.
He couldn't believe what had happened. His Trance-- the one he loved so much-- had left him.
In her place was this strange version of herself, a gold version. And as much as he tried, he couldn't feel the same about her as the old Trance. He stifled a cry thinking about all the times they'd had together, some were good, and some were bad, but he cherished them all and held them close to his heart.
Now he couldn't carry on.
He fingered the lance in his hand and a tear escaped his eye.
It was cowardly and he knew it, but he didn't care.
He couldn't cope without his sparkly purple babe.
Sighing Harper held the lance to his chest. "I love you Trance," he whispered.
