Another quiet Tuesday afternoon in Trusdale's Card Shop. The sun heated the earth up to a fine temperature of twenty-three degrees. "Just another simple day! Help customers, resort my decks, count my money... Yep, this is the life!" Trusdale sat down for about ten minutes, when a tall man, covered in a dark blue cape stepped inside the toadstool-shaped building. "Hello, may I help you?" Trusdale started his usual sweet talk to every potential customer. The man in the blue cape didn't say a word, so Trusdale decided to try again. "Sir, can I help you?" No use. The man moved over to the counter, in a way that seemed like floating. There were no shoes showing, but his cloak didn't seem to touch the ground. Weird... "Ehm... Sir?" The ghost-like appearance stopped in front of the counter. He seemed to raise his arm (kinda hard to see under thirty kilograms of nylon) and dropped a card on the counter. Then, as soon as he had appeared in front of the door, he vanished in only the blink of an eye. Trusdale was astounded by this happening, although he had the feeling that it was all a dream. Of course, he thought, of course it was a dream. How else could that caped guy disappear so fa... He was planning on finishing his sentence, until his eyes rested on the counter. There was a card on it! Trusdale grabbed, felt it, just to make sure it was real. It was. After that, he turned the "swirly" side down, so the monster was clearly visible: ShadOw ReALm ZoMBIe, LevEL 12, 666/0. The text on the card was poorly written in shiny, red letters, and the stars on it were purple. But the weirdest to the card, was that there was no picture on it. In the square where the illustration should be, a black block was printed on this card. It gave Trusdale incredible shivers, so he quickly put it away in a plastic bag. After seeing the card, he decided to close the shop for today. He thought, that if he would rip the card in tiny pieces, he'd get rid of his fear for the card. But when his fingers wanted to grab it, they couldn't! The card was now surrounded by a black aura, which he didn't even want to touch in a million years, so he left it laying in the bag for now. Besides, he thought, how could a piece of paper harm me?
He'd find out soon enough...
