The title of this was taken from the book "Lizzie At Last" Where Lizzie "found herself" i felt i was in a similar situation so i used her title, and wrote my own poem.

For the girl I used to be
I used to be that way,
Younger, more carefree,
I didnt care what anyone thought,
Or the way they looked at me,

Nothing anyone ever said,
No insults they fired,
I was almost always happy,
Nothing good happening required,

Now things have changed so much,
I've learned to dress to impress,
Always look ready to go out,
But now my true feelings I surpress

I know no one cares,
If I'm a stereotype or truly me,
All I can do is say goodbye,
To the girl I used to be.
