Prologue
Trapped. She was trapped. All alone in this strange world of mirrors. This world of betrayal, this world of deceit. It was not real, and yet, it was not false. Only a strange fragment of a world long gone, a world that has not yet come to pass, a world this merely is. And she had thrown herself into it, unable to cope with the strange, twisted, harsh realities that are life. And now, as her body sat still upon the ground, and her mind wandered this strange new universe, not a thought passed through her drained, empty head. There was nothing left for her in this world, and yet no death had occurred. No death of friends, no death of family, no death of her beloved. If there was a death, it was that of her mind, a death of her sanity. She had been left completely and utterly alone, and now, she had nothing to do but sit here and wait. There was no one left for her, no one waiting for her return, she would not be missed. And she knew. Knew that both of her worlds had been destroyed. Not even death would help her. For she knew, knew that her spirit would merely wander the earth, seeking, searching for something while not knowing what it was, and she would not find it. So she could only sit, and wait. Wait for the beginning, the end, a new life would take hold inside her, and, in time, she might forget. Forget pain, forget hatred, forget love. She would merely sit there, and all would become well.

Why do you weep?
I hear a voice calling,
Through the darkness it does seep...

Why are you scared?
That dear voice that is calling,
Many a life it has marred...

What plagues your dreams?
A demon boy, alone and scared,
Hoping to bring me back, it seems...

He can not bring me back,
I am alone now,
Forever alone...
