This is a poem about Sephiroth. Enough said.
Shadowed Ice
Cloaked in darkness
Light is almost gone
Your form is that of ice.
Unable to melt
Hardened beyond redemption
You seek destruction
Flames lick at your form
But melt not the statue.
Trapped in shadow
No light showing
No possible chance of change.
She did try
And she did fail
She should have known.
She died by your hand
Heart frozen to her beauty
And her kindness.
There is no escaping
Destiny.
Merged with one who was
Not only yourself anymore
You are lost to shadow
Never alone.
You cannot love
You can only hate
Hate the pitiful people
Who dare defy you.
They are nothing to you.
You are a spider in the web
Your puppet dangles below
Trapping all the insignificant ants
That crawl at your feet.
No longer owned
No one has claim to you but one:
Jenova:
Merged with her son.
Not son of blood
But of heart and mind
Of cells.
You obey no one
But her.
To rule
To own
That is your wish
Sephiroth
Trapped forever
In shadowed ice.
Light will not touch you
Flames will not burn you
You will never melt
From your frozen shell.
Sephiroth
Stuck in shadowed ice
Laugh at what you will
None equal your strength alone.
But together
They do.
Raise your blade
The Masamune
Harbinger of death
One winged angel
Who has come to destroy:
Sephiroth.

What did you think? I took Night Elemental's suggestions for revision, which I liked better than what I had, and thanks to Aeris-the-Dark and Shalashaska-001 for their complements. And thanks again Night Elemental!
