AN: alright, this is the first thing I've scribbled out since I was in 6th grade....so...be mean, be nice, whatever, but be honest. If you don't want to read a Hojo/Kag thing then click the back button up there and don't. The rest of you are either curious...or a closet Hojo/kag lover. I am. No shame, poor guy needs some followers, although I ADORE kouga and miroku and sess and hiten and...you get the point. So, for this, my first, I decided to give in to impulse. I am slightly mad at my baby though, because it woke me up at almost 4 in the morning and wouldn't let me go back to sleep until I wrote it. It was worth it though if you guys like it. Well, that's enough babbling...read on lovelies.
He let himself be lost in the feelings that were being created by her hot flushed skin and she moved against him...yes...do that gliding up motion again.... All the times of wanting to be with her, all the missed dates and blown-off advances, all disappeared from his mind as they danced, grinding together under the colored lights.
Even later, when they stepped out onto the patio, the fire that burned inside him refused to be quenched.
"Higurashi"?
"Hai, Hojo-kun"? she answered as she lifted her head to meet his gaze.
Suddenly he could no longer stand there, being only Hojo-Kun in her eyes, only a friend. With an almost inaudible cry his lips met hers. Gentle, and passionate, but the kiss was as demanding as it was soft.
Her eyes slid shut as she reveled in the experiences he caused to explode in her. Responding in kind she mewled softly as he wound his arms about her and pulled her tightly against his body. Hojo rejoiced and Kagome wondered at how right the embrace felt.
Never breaking contact, the young couple made their way past the crowd and to the car that had been parked in the street outside. His insides felt as if they would mutiny any second and his heart thumped wildly in his chest at the close proximity to the young woman he adored. The feel of her burning gaze was both terrifying and amazing as it was all he could do to drive normally. He wanted to stop the car and run, spinning, jumping and laughing with her at the magic of the night. All times eventually end however, and soon the little Honda Civic had stopped at the bottom of the steps that led up to the Sunset Shrine.
Near trembling, he offered his hand to help her fom the car. Wordlessly they held each other in the cool evening air as she drew heat from him. Finally, after what seemed to be an eternity, she buried her head in his chest and spoke.
"Oh, Hojo-kun, I feel like I'm wanted...and loved."
"Kagome", he placed her hand under her chin to see her face. "You ARE loved."
She blinked at him.
"Don't you see how much your light brightens my day? I love you Kagome". He spoke as he gazed earnestly at her. "Stay with me".
"We could be happy together, wait just a bit longer for me. I have...some things...that need to be finished first". With that she leaned up to place one last sweet kiss upon his lips, and then she was gone, tripping up the steps.
Hojo stood there a minute before he turned away grinning. Sure she had run away from him again, but oh! She would be coming back to him...HIM! With his smile still in place he started his car and drove away, after all, the sooner he left, the sooner she would return.
and that's it people! Hoped you like it, it still amuses me that I actually wrote something. Gimme your thoughts on it in a review, k?
oh....btw...did you know that in microsoft word if you put in Hojo/Kag it wants to change it to "Hookah", I just found that amusing.
