Final hearts, Kingdom Fantasy
Paine tossed and turned. She knew something wasn't right on Besaid that night. She got up and walked across the path to
Yuna's hut.
"Yuna," said Paine
"yes?" said Yuna
"something is wrong, I can feel it!" said Paine
"let's go get Rikku," said Yuna, getting out of bed. They
walked out to the main path and saw Rikku standing there.
"it's coming from the beach," she said.
"I can feel evil at work here," said Paine. Yuna looked around.
"where's Gippal?" she said.
"ummmm,"
"what is that?!" said Rikku, pointing to the beach. There was
a swirling cyclone with darkness eminating from it. There
were creatures coming out of it. In the middle of it was
Gippal.
"Gippal!" yelled Rikku.
"hang on!" said Yuna, drawing her guns. Paine pulled out her
sword and Rikku grabbed her daggers. They ran for the
beach. Gippal turned around and faced them. He extended his
hand. Rikku ran forward to take it but Paine held her back.
"hold on, it could be a trap!" said Paine. The darkness
swallowed Gippal.
"Gippal!!!!!" yelled Rikku. He was gone. She turned around and
looked at Yuna.
"Yunie, are you ok?" said Rikku. Yuna was looking straight up
at a star. Suddenly her feet rose from the ground and her
eyes became pure silver. She was engulfed with white light
and floating a foot from the ground, a beam of light went
through her chest and something came out.
"holy yevon..." muttered Paine. Yuna's heart floated just above
her body. It slowly spun and turned silver. Her guns floated
from her hands and above her head, they melted and turned
into a key. It was thin and silver, the handle had a single
white stone embedded in it. She slowly came back to the
ground holding the key.
"Yuna?" said Rikku. Yuna looked at the darkness. Suddenly a
huge black creature rose from it.
