Please forgive me for anything I get wrong in this fanfic it my first one
and I have little knowledge of the show as I have just started watching it.
This is a really short chapter, sorry!
Chapter One
Adalia felt a piece of paper hit the back of her head. Joey Wheeler. Would he stop throwing stuff around the room with the rest of his goofy mates. She turned around and yelled at Joey, not that he took any notice of her anyway.
"Man Joey Wheeler is annoying," she exclaimed to her best friend, Sarita as the bell rang for lunch. Adalia was angry because the teacher hadn't turned up to class and she needed to discuss her essay with him. "I know," said Sarita. But you have to admit, he is kinda cute." "Ew, Joey Wheeler, are you serious." "Yeah, there's nothing wrong with him. I don't like him but he is defiantly not bad looking." Everyone's entitled to their opinion I guess."
Sarita went to the canteen and Adalia was left sitting by herself, that was until Joey came over. "Were you trying to tell me something in English today?" said Joey. "As a matter of fact, I was just trying to tell you to shut up after one of your balls of paper hit my head," she said sharply. "Oh sorry about that, sometimes I don't know when to shut my mouth." "Sometimes?" she questioned. "Okay then, I never know when to shut up. Happy?" said Joey "It would seem that way" Adalia replied. "So on a totally different subject what are you doing this weekend?" he asked "Well I was thinking of entering that duel monsters tournament Kaiba is holding but I don't know anyone else entering so I think I'll give it a miss." said Adalia not quite so grumpily. "You know me and I'm entering," Joey said. "Is that supposed to make me want to go more?" "Come on, it'll be fun" "Maybe" said Adalia "None of those guys are going to be there" said Joey pointing at his mates. "It will be my other friends and my kid sister Serenity." "I'll think about it but no promises okay." Adalia said "That's good enough for me," he said as Sarita arrived back. "Well I guess I'll see you there then." "I'll try, she replied as he walked back over to his group.
