Heero lies on his couch alone in his candle lit apartment, just listening to the rain gently tapping on his roof
Heero: sigh of relief...peace and quiet at last....
He slowly sits up and takes a sip of his tea
He stands and goes over to the bay windows directly across from him and takes a seat watching the rain slowly run down the outside of the window
As he gazes out over the city his door bell rings
DING DONG
Heero: aww crap....
He slowly rises and goes to the door, and as he opens it, he is surprised to see Duo standing there, drenched from head to toe
Heero: What do you want now?
Duo: Don't give me that attitude! I walked all the way up 7 flights of stairs to get here...
Heero: Why didn't you just use the elevator?
Duo: There's an elevator!?!?!?!....for god sakes it's raining, let me in!!
The braided boy shoves Heero you of his way and Heero shuts the door
Heero: Now then Duo, I am going to ask this question one more time and this time I had better get an answer....What do you want now?
Duo: Don't get your panties in a bunch, I don't want anything..I am here to tell you something.
Heero: Alright then, what do you have to tell me?
Duo: Now, you must promise not to freak out...Ok?
Heero: What have you done now?
Duo: Nothing,..now promise..

Heero runs out he door , strait towards the elevator
Duo: WAIT UP YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HOSPITAL SHE'S IN!!!
Duo runs out of the apartment and reaches the elevator where Heero impatiently stands holding the door for his counterpart
Duo hurries inside, and as the doors shut he looks over at the so called perfect soldier, to see tears rushing down his cheeks
The elevator comes to an abrupt stop and suddenly the tears are gone and the cold look goes back to Heero's face as the doors open
--At the hospital--
The two of them rush in the doors
Heero: Excuse me miss could you please tell me what room Miss Relena Peacecraft is in?
The receptionist types some thing into her computer, then looks up
Receptionist: Room 438
Heero: Thank you very much.
Heero runs for the elevator with Duo on his heels
The elevator doors are barely open an the two of them are already inside
Heero pushes the button for the 4th floor and just as quickly they got on the elevator they were off again
Heero and Duo run down the hall
Heero: ....420....428.....432..34....38!!!!
Heero runs in the room, Duo wait outside the door
Heero kneels beside the bed and holds his love's hand
Heero: Please don't leave me....I need you....I...I love you.
Heero gently kisses her hand
Relena slightly squeezes his hand
Beep...Beep.....Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
Suddenly doctors rush the room and franticly try to save her
Heero pushes them all away from her
Heero: It's her time! Let her go in peace.
Doctor: You have an authority to tell us that!!
A man enters the room
Man: No, no he doesn't, but I do...do as the boy says..

Zechs: I owed you one...and there it is.
