Just a little thing whipped up at midnight when I was very, very bored.

"April? Are you in here?"

Roger tentatively poked his head into the loft and scanned the main room for any signs of life. He didn't find any. He was confused. April should be here. Mark and Maureen were gone, but April was supposed to be in the loft where he had left her.

"April? Where are you? Is anyone home?"

He scanned the bedrooms. Mark and Maureen's room was vacant. So was the one that Collins stayed in. He opened the door to his own room, finding it empty. Roger was starting to get worried. What if something had happened? What if someone had come when April was alone? He couldn't see any sign of a struggle, but you never knew. Then he remembered the one place he hadn't checked. The bathroom.

He opened the door a slit, hearing the wind from the open window cause slight ripples in the tub full of water. A pool of something red was lying next to it. April was lying inside it, not moving, her eyes closed, as pale as a ghost. Rogers heart stopped beating.

"April? April. April!"

Then her eyes opened. She looked drowsily at Roger.

"Rog? What's wrong?"

He breathed a sigh of relief. Nothing was wrong. Nothing was wrong now.

"Jesus, April. You fell asleep. What if you slipped under and drowned?"

"Oh, shit. I'm sorry. I was so busy today; I guess I just couldn't keep my eyes… wow. I'm sorry I scared you babe." She stood up and began drying herself off.

"It's alright. I was just a little freaked out. I was really afraid for a minute there. Just don't do that to me ever again, ok?"

"Ok. I promise. Never again." April smiled sweetly and kissed Roger. She put on her red silk bathrobe and walked out of the room.
